
Baker - Immediate Start
£11.40/hour Starting Wage
Friday, Saturday & 3 out of 4 Sundays a month (of your choice)
8hr shift, paid break inc. homecooked lunch provided
Some early morning starts (6.30am)
Essentials:
Experience in a professional baking and/or pastry setting

Comfortable working independently.
Confident in multi-tasking in the kitchen and keeping to a schedule.
Adaptable to frequent menu changes.
Maintaining a tidy work space/cleaning as we go.
Your tasks will include:
- Friday & Saturday: Mise en place (preparing various short crust & yeasted doughs, custards, cookie doughs, lining tart shells, etc.)
- Sunday: Morning baking shift (prepping & baking pies, tarts, mini cakes, savouries pastries, glazing, and simple decorations etc.)
- Washing dishes (this is a shared responsibility among staff)
- End of day clean down
This is a great opportunity to learn a wide variety of techniques and to expand on your baking & patisserie skillset. We are open to menu suggestions and input from everyone on the team.
We are a small efficient team working both in volume and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and keen to learn, passion for food is a must!
